Description

The story
Nina is struggling to live with the death of her partner Jamie when he unexpectedly returns as a ghost. Having him back seems to answer her deepest wish. Sharing her home with him again, however, brings awkward habits, unexpected visitors and questions that grief had allowed her to avoid.

Juliet Stevenson and Alan Rickman star in Anthony Minghella’s intimate British drama. Humor grows from the practical details of an impossible reunion, while the emotional story asks how love can continue without preventing life from moving forward. For viewers drawn to romances with warmth, sadness and a supernatural touch, it offers an unusually personal approach to loss and renewal.
